It's important to note this truly feels like a pommade. It is VERY thick, dense, sticky stuff. It goes on smoothly and does not irritate my skin. I did worry that it was so thick that it would rub off on my pillowcase. My face felt nice and smooth in the morning, and I didn't see any redness or irritation.The ingredients look natural and great. I assumed it was French, but it seems like it might be made in the US and inspired by the French.

This is an unusual product texture wise so I wanted to make sure I addressed that. It’s very dense, like a true ointment. It’s pretty greasy and that doesn’t go away. That said I absolutely love it. My dry skin looks so much better in the morning when I use this at night. I need a retinol product for texture and discoloration but the level of moisturizing I get from this cannot be matched. It’s made in the US in a metal tube.I probably would not have appreciated when I was younger but it’s perfect for where I am now. No fragrance. It feels so good on my skin. I’m all in; if it was on Subscribe and Save I’d get it every month. Big fan.

One thing I noticed right away when you poke the foil safety protector to get the retinol out is that A LOT comes out on it's own & right away so be prepared to use it and once it starts to squeeze you better get moving & get the top back on ASAP so you don't have a bunch of extra! It's like releasing the pressure and the only place the cream has to go is out.The retinol is a Vaseline like consistency, very thick and I would consider it somewhat greasy, as many retinols are. Yet I have very sensitive skin and this hasn't irritated it or made me breakout at all! Very good sign.The packaging also says you can use it as heavy duty under eye cream, which I have been doing with good results.It is too early to tell if the retinol anti-aging components work since that takes time to see or judge improvement. But I do like the way the cream feels. For $40 you get a lot of bang for your buck this cream will probably last me all year since I do retinol every other day or every third day and it's a big tube!I love the black and red packaging it makes it look sleck and sophisticated. The French always know how to make a girl feel pretty 💅Only reason I gave this 4 stars is because it is not my favorite retinol or skincare product I do prefer a retinol that is slightly less greasy and a softer feel/consistency

Absolutely love this product. It melts right into your skin without feeling heavy or greasy. It goes and easily and spreads evenly. I love the glow it gives me. The ingredients are top notch and you only need to use a pea size to cover your whole face.

To date I haven't noticed any visible improvement in my skin or a reduction in fine lines, but my skin does feel better overall. As many reviewers have stated, a little goes a long way so only a small amount is needed for each use. This tube should last quite a while which makes the price point make more sense. A double retinol! This is a great upgrade to A313 and it is NOT harsh on the skin like traditional retinols. It’s creamy, golden, and makes my skin look amazing when I use it at night. Definitely recommend!
